After lunch with the Mayor and Police Chief Walters, students participated in a roundtable discussion, had a tour of the building with Borough Administrator, Lisette Duffy, and received a tour of the police station. Each student was presented with a certificate from the Mayor as well!
Congratulations to Dana and Cara, who, after presenting their election speeches to classmates, were voted in as Mayor and Council President, respectively! Special Shoutout to Eren, Chase, Kaylie and Taylor for being Council Members!
A special thank you to our Mayor, Council Members, Police Chief, and the Borough of Little Ferry for graciously giving their time so that this valuable tradition continues!
Little Ferry Public Schools celebrated a historic milestone last Thursday evening, as our first ever group of Middle School students were inducted into the Knights of Honor Chapter of The National Junior Honor Society. It was a momentous occasion that not only recognized academic excellence, but leadership, service, citizenship and character as well.
