Custom Plan for Continued Food Service During a “Public 
Health-Related Emergency School Closing for Little Ferry Public Schools

The District has coordinated a plan with our food service provider, TJ Rocco Enterprises/LJ’s Food Service, to continue offer meals to students during the emergency. Updated Lunch Registration link can be found HERE

Grab and Go Breakfast and Lunch are available to all students. Little Ferry Public Schools are a member of the National School Lunch Program, governed by the New Jersey Department of Nutrition. Every lunch includes the five National School Lunch Program Components: Meat/Protein Alternative, Bread/Grain, Fruits, Vegetables, and Milk. Every breakfast includes each of the School Breakfast Program components: Bread/Grain, Fruit and Milk.

UPDATE: Extension of Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Little Ferry Students

 The USDA has approved an extension of the Summer Seamless Food Program this week making every 
child  in Little Ferry eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no charge  This program was approved for  students with a Little Ferry address until further notice.

 Please note: Free and Reduced applications from last year expired on 09/30/20. You must reapply 
every year.   The current USDA waiver extends to all students until further notice. Once the waiver ends, you will lose  benefits until you have a Free/Reduced Application approval. Once approved you will receive a letter from the  district.
