Superintendent's Corner

Matthew Perrapato

Superintendent's Welcome

Dear Royal Knight Community,

I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the Summer! It feels somewhat odd to formally introduce myself to a district I feel I have come to know so well. Instead, let this letter serve as an announcement of my changing of roles from Director of Special Services to Superintendent of Schools on August 1, 2023, and a continuation of all the headway we have already made as a school community during my tenure here. While my service to Little Ferry will be in a different capacity, I fully intend to forge forward with the same level of enthusiasm, passion, and professionalism I have always tried to bring to my position. It is my hope that I can act as a conduit for the ideas of the progressive, while still maintaining the cornerstone of small town community values that make being a Royal Knight so special. My door and my ears are always open. I look forward to getting to know each of you better and strengthening the bonds many of us already share.

I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge Mr. Scarafile and his 18-year tradition of excellence as a Superintendent. I have learned so much under his tutelage and fully intend to uphold many of the practices I know so many of you have come to know and love. He has served Little Ferry proud and I, as well as the whole of this community, will be forever grateful for his dedication to his craft.

The children of Little Ferry are fortunate to have the best teachers both at home and at school! I am honored to serve a the Little Ferry community.  Toghether we will accomplish great things a provide and outstanding educational foundation for our children.
