The Little Ferry School District Mission

The Little Ferry School District’s mission is to serve a diverse community by challenging each student and providing the tools and skills needed to realize his/her unique potential.

Our team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional educational program and the focus of our 83 teachers and staff members is to identify learning strategies to maximize the potential of all students and to further develop their minds and talents.

In fact, as a result of recent monitoring by the New Jersey Department of Education, the Little Ferry Public School District was named a “High Performing School District” through the Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC). QSAC is a system of monitoring school districts by measuring quality in five areas; Curriculum & Instruction, Operations, Finance, Facilities, and Governance. Being deemed a “High Performing District” is a major accomplishment as many of our neighboring school districts have not attained this status.

We are extremely excited about the progress we’re making within our district and want you to know about the good things happening in the Little Ferry Public Schools. We welcome your ongoing support and partnership as we strive to personalize learning to help each child build on strengths and overcome challenges.
